Jetstar Pacific has announced it will increase two-way flights on the international air routes from Ho Chi Minh city and Hanoi to China’s Guangzhou.
Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh city - Guangzhou route will have daily flight on Airbus A320 with 180 economy class seats, instead of five flights per week.
Meanwhile it will run seven flights a week (up from four), connecting Hanoi and the most populous city of Guangzhou province.
The additional flights will be operated from July 1st to October 26th, 2018.
The decision came as the number of tourists between Vietnam’s hubs and the city is forecast to increase sharply during Summer 2018.
Currently, Vietnam becomes one of the 10 most favoured destinations of Chinese travelers, beside Thailand, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, the US and Italy. In the first four months of 2018, the country greeted 1.7 million Chinese tourists, a year-on-year rise of 39.7%./.
