Can Tho - Bangkok air route launched

The World Travel and Transport Service JSC (Worldtrans) has launched a direct air route connecting Can Tho with Bangkok (Thailand), with the first flight carrying 180 passengers from Can Tho international airport.

The flight is operated by Thai Vietjet Air using Airbus 320 with the flight duration of 1 hour and 25 minutes.
Worldtrans will operate 28 chartered flights within three months from June to August 2018, serving about 5,000 passengers. The flight from Can Tho will depart 09h05 and arrive in Bangkok at 10h30, while the return will start at 7h00 and land at 8h25.
So far, the company has sold 5,000 tickets for all 28 flights.
Vu Duc Bien, Worldtrans General Director said that after the air route is operating stably, his company will consider the operation by the end of 2018 and have a new plan for 2019.
Together with the Can Tho - Bangkok route, this year, the 4-year services provider plans to exploit chartered direct flights from Can Tho to other localities nationwide and other direct flights to Japan, the Republic of Korea, China and more./.
