Cua Van Floating Cultural Centre closes two weeks for repair

The Cua Van Floating Cultural Centre on Ha Long bay will temporarily suspend receiving visitors from December 15th, 2016 to January 31st, 2017 to be repaired, maintained and upgraded, reported the Ha Long city People’s Committee.

During the closure, tourism activities around Cua Van will continue as normal.
Located in Cua Van fishing village in Hung Thang precinct, Ha Long city, the Cua Van Floating Cultural Centre was launched in May 2016 and belongs to the Ha Long Ecology Museum project. It displays and introduces documents, files and images about tangible and intangible cultural heritages of the Ha Long fishing community.
Visitors have the chance to experience the lives and traditional fishing activities of Ha Long fishermen, and enjoy typical food of the heritage area when they visit the centre./.
