Da Nang International Passenger Terminal ready to welcome APEC 2017

The International Passenger Terminal of Da Nang International Airport is the first socialization project in the aviation sector, with a total investment capital of VND3.5 trillion (about USD153.7 million).


This is an important project to serve APEC 2017 year.

The terminal includes four main projects: international passenger terminal, overpass, technical house and car parking.

Inspired by the wings of the gull, the design of the roof blends smoothly and symmetrically with the existing terminal.

The terminal, called T2, covers 21,000 square meters and has a total floor area of 48,000 square meters.

It has 44 check-in counters, 20 departure counters, 22 entry counters and 10 gates. The spacious design aims to create
additional areas; avoiding overload in the future.

Notably, the first floor of the terminal is designed separately for commercial and non-aeronautical services, meeting the maximum
demand of passengers.

The check-in area has an open design ceiling to employ natural light in order to save energy. There are three check-in counters
 for business guests (Number 20, 21, 22).

The guest room for business class has a capacity of more than 180 people.

The car parking and roads inside the terminal have a total area of 41,000 square meters, with 416 parking spaces for
4 to 16-seat cars and 20 spaces for buses of more than 45-seat./.
