The number of tourists to Da Nang is expected to hit more than 158,000 during the National Day holiday (from 1st to 3rd September), a year-on-year rise of 10.4%; in which foreign arrivals will be 48,700, up 12.1%, according to the city Department of Tourism.

To prepare for the holiday, airlines have launched discount programs like Vietnam Airlines Golden Autumn and starter (low-cost) ticket of Jetstar Pacific. Together with the effective operation of international routes, Da Nang continues to have more air routes to Bangkok by Air Asia, Hong Kong (China) by Jetstar, and Deagu by Air Busan and T’way.

Many attractive activities are being organized, such as Cuisine Festival by the Department of Tourism and the biggest beer festival in Vietnam (B’estival 2018), in Ba Na Hills to contribute to attracting more tourists to the central hub during the holiday.

Due to the holiday close to the start of the new school year and short-day holiday, domestic visitors are also more likely to choose places which closer to home rather than distant locations.

Notably, Ba Na Hills’ opening Golden Bridge contributed to promoting and luring a great number of tourists to the city and travelers from Quang Nam, Hue and Quy Nhon prioritized Da Nang as their national holiday./.
