The recognition is expected to help boost investment attraction of organizations, individuals and businesses in Bat Trang while contributing to raising the responsibility of local authorities and people in tourism development of the locality.

Bat Trang commune is one of the craft villages known among domestic and foreign tourists for its many exquisite ceramic products. Thanks to grasp of consumption trends, in recent years, it has increasingly innovated production technology and product designs to become one of the typical craft villages.

Bat Trang has nearly 1,000 households producing and trading ceramic products, earning an annual average income of VND50 million a person in 2018.

The tourist site greeted about 200,000 tourists a year, in which foreigners made up about 10%. In peak season, it welcomes nearly 10,000 visitors./.
