The number of tourists to Hanoi reached more than 2.4 million in July, a year-on-year rise of 9.5%, according to the city Department of Tourism.

Of this, foreign tourists numbered over 460,000, up 9.6%. Total tourism turnover posted more than VND8 trillion, up 31.5% from the same period last year.
From the start of the year, the capital greeted over 16.7 million tourists, a year-on-year rise of 9.2%; including 3.7 million foreigners, up 8.9%. Total revenue reached an estimated VND57.78 trillion, up 28.8%.
This month, average room occupancy of hotels was 64.2%, a 2.87% rise from the same period last year and a 3.2% decrease against June 2019. Four to five-star hotels had an average room occupancy of about 80%./.
