The information was announced by a leader of the city Culture and Sports Centre on January 19th.

The event, themed “the Colors of Hoi An”, will be capitalized with about VND14 billion by a Thai company.

On the basis of inspiration from the iconic symbols of dragon, unicorn, tortoise and phoenix in the beliefs of the ancient Vietnamese people, the festival is designed as a “symphony” full of colorful light technology.

At every 19h00, 20h00 and 21h00, images about activities, trade and cultural changes in Hoi An over time will be shown by 3D projection technology for ten minutes. This is expected to help viewers better understand the formation and development process of the land of Hoi town and Hoai river./.
