Khanh Hoa reports preparations for 2019 National Tourism Year

As planned, the event themed "Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival" will include three main groups of activities hosted by Khanh Hoa province; the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and other localities nationwide.

So far, 15 provinces and cities were contacted in respond to the event.

According to the Khanh Hoa provincial Department of Tourism, from start of the year, the locality greeted more than 4.49 million tourists, a year-on-year rise of 16%, in which nearly 1.9 million were foreigners, up nearly 41.8%.

Total tourism turnover reached an estimated VND29 trillion, in which overnight staying services pocketed more than VND15 trillion./.
