Accordingly, the 3-kilometer walking street starts from Ly Son high school to Ly Son wharf. Along the path, landscape design will include trees, lighting system and trade centres, thus attracting more tourists to the locality.

In 2016, Ly Son greeted more than 150,000 tourist arrivals, grossing a turnover of over VND100 billion, a two-fold increase against the previous year.

Covering 9.97 square kilometers, Ly Son district includes two islands: Big island (known as Cu Lao Re) and Small island (known as Cu Lao Bo Bai) with three communes: An Vinh, An Hai and An Binh. In spite of being 15 nautical miles from the mainland, Ly Son has been becoming an attractive tourism destination with unique natural landscape, simple-hearted fishermen and well-known garlic fields./.
