More trains increased between Ho Chi Minh city and Nha Trang

The Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company has increased trains on the Ho Chi Minh City – Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) route in order to meet the rising demand of passengers before and during national holiday (September 2).

Specifically, the Ho Chi Minh City – Nha Trang route will have SNT4 train running on August 27, and SNT2 train running on August 28 and September 3-4, 2020.

Meanwhile, for the return from Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City, SNT5 train will run on August 30 and SNT1 train will run on August 30 and September 5-6, 2020. 

“Passengers must make medical declaration before boarding, check temperature at stations and regularly washes hands with antiseptic soap or solution; wear face mask and restrict travelling between carriages if unnecessary,” said a leader of the Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company.

Earlier, the company announced suspension of some trains in the southern railway due to impacts of the COVID-19 epidemic and the reduced demand.

According to Vietnam Railway Corporation, its merging revenue is estimated to reach more than VND3.65 trillion in the first seven months of the year. Of this, revenue of railway transport posted an estimated over VND1.9 trillion, equivalent to 69.74% of the same period last year, down VND900 billion./.
