New astonishing cave discovered in Bac Kan

After entering through the cave’s mouth which is 5-6 meters high and 6-7 meters wide, Tham Phong divides into two sections, each is estimated to be from 400 to 500 meters.

Mr. Nguyen Van Ha, Deputy Head of the Bac Kan provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that the cave has much potential for adventure tourism and that a travel agency has requested permission to exploit this type of tourism here.

However, the Department must report to the provincial People’s Committee to request policy for official surveys to provide specific and comprehensive assessments on the cave before opening it for tourism exploitation.

The Hoang Tri commune was assigned to control, protect and maintain the conditions of the site.
