The Government leader has approved the general planning task for the construction of Nui Coc lake national tourist area in Thai Nguyen province by 2030.
An overview of Nui Coc lake
The task aims to concretize the master scheme of the Nui Coc lake national tourist area by 2025, with an orientation to 2030; build and develop the site which meets the criteria for a national tourist resort before 2025 and becoming a national ecotourism and resort center with comprehensive and modern infrastructure system by 2030.
Preserving and promoting the existing advantages of the region in geographic location and natural resources: the ecosystem of protective forests, ecosystem of lakes, islands and Tan Cuong tea-growing area, in order to exploit tourism development effectively and sustainably.
Under the Decision 1577/QD-TTg dated November 15th, 2018, the research scope of the tourist area covers Phuc Xuan, Phuc Triu and Tan Cuong communes in Thai Nguyen city; Tan Thai, Binh Thuan, Luc Ba, Van Tho, Quan Chu communes and Quan Chu town in Dai Tu district, and Phuc Tan commune in Pho Yen town.
The project has a total initial investment of about VND15 trillion by State budget, private capital and other legal sources from 2016 to 2035./.
