Numerous activities to be held during Da Nang Summer Destination 2017

The annually-held tourism event aims attract both locals and visitors to take a retreat or participate in sightseeing and other touristic activities in the city of sun, sand and beaches.

The event is expected to effectively boost the refining and promoting of Da Nang’s coastal tourism products, as well as developing the city into an destination for events.

According to the department, the main events will take place over the three days of June 17th, 18th and 19^th, at East Sea Park and Pham Van Dong Beach.

The highlighted events include live concert performances on June 17^th-18^th at Holiday Beach and Lang Ong area, Son Tra Peninsula Cycling Tournament with the theme “Protecting Son Tra National Conservation Park” on June 25^th and Son Tra Adventure Run on June 18^th, a cooking contest “Best Dishes of Da Nang” on June 22^nd, a paragliding contest “Gliding over Tien Sa 2017” on June 20^th-23^rd, and Seaside Festival on June 17^th -18^th.

In addition, there will be bikini flash mob on June 17^th, basket boats arranging and decorating from June 17^th to 22^nd, neon painting arts from June 17^th to 23^rd, building sand sculptures contest on June 17^th -18^th, and beach sports and games  such as boat-racing, paragliding, towed banana buoy and jet-skis for rent on June 17^th./.
