Over 9 million tourists visit Quang Ninh in 8 months

Of this, the number of foreign tourists reached over 3.2 million, up 18% over a year earlier and 65% of the year’s plan. Total tourism turnover posted over VND16 trillion, up 29% over a year earlier and 73% of the year’s plan.

In order to achieve these results, the northern province intensified tourism promotion, support and provide timely information to tourists and enhanced inspection and handling of violations related to tourism and services.
