Phu Quoc to receive new international flights

Phu Quoc island of the southern province of Kien Giang will receive more international flights in the coming time, said a representative of the provincial People’s Committee in a recent conference discussing solutions to attract more tourists to the pearl island.

Accordingly, on October 29th, Bangkok Airways will launch Bangkok - Phu Quoc route on every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. On November 1st, TUI Airways will start charter flights from the UK to Phu Quoc.

From this December 19th to April, 2018, Italy’s Neos Airlines will operate flights from Milan to Phu Quoc every Tuesday and the return leg will fly every Wednesday. Using 250-seat Boeing 767 aircraft, it set to transport 4,000 passengers to the island for vacation and tourism. This is a good sign for the island in developing tourism./.
