The operation of the streets is expected to create more entertainment space for people and tourists as they travel to the city.

The city People’s Committee has asked the Department of Tourism to collect ideas of people about the plan to report to the organ for consideration and submission to the Standing Board of the city Party Committee to soon put the two streets into use during Tet 2018.

Earlier, the southern hub also inaugurated Nguyen Hue walking street in April 2015 and Bui Vien street in August 2017, which always draw large numbers of tourists and people on weekends and holidays.

Currently, Nguyen Hue street starts operation from 19h00 to 23h00, while Bui Vien runs from 19h00 to 02h00 of the next day on every Saturday and Sunday. As planned, De Tham and Do Quang Dau pedestrian areas will operate at the same time as Bui Vien street./.
