Southern city to organize fireworks at three locations on Tet eve

The Ho Chi Minh city People’s Committee plans to set off fireworks on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2020 after receiving approval from the Government.

As planned, the southern hub will organize fireworks displays from 0h00 to 0h15 on lunar January 1st, 2020. Two high-range shooting spots are the beginning of the tunnel under Sai Gon river in District 2 and Landmark 81 building in Binh Thanh district. Meanwhile, low-range fireworks will be set off at Dam Sen Cultural Park in District 11.
The budget comes from the source of socialization.
The organ will assign related units to design and decorate art lights to welcome the New Year’s Eve and Tet holiday 2020 on Nguyen Van Troi, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia streets; Le Duan - Le Duan roundabout, Nguyen Hue, Dong Khoi, Cach Mang Thang Tam streets and Dan Chu roundabout.
Earlier, the Hanoi People’s Committee issued a document approving the proposal of the Department of Culture and Sports to organize fireworks displays at 30 districts and towns on the Tet Eve./.
