Tourism department cooperates with VNPT to boost promotion

Mr. Ngo Xuan Truong, Director of VNPT’s HCM city branch, said that with its strength, the group will cooperate with the Department of Tourism to build and realize the overall project of applying information technology in approach to Fourth industrial revolution in the tourism industry.

The two sides will associate to provide technological solutions and telecom services for the construction of a centralized database system, and gather and investigate tourist information on the basis of connecting information from other sectors such as culture, transport, health care and enterprises.

They will also coordinate to build smart tourism portal, areas and destinations.

Through this agreement, the two units wish to accelerate the application of information technology and telecom to further promote the image of Vietnam’s tourism to domestic and foreign friends./.
