Vietjet’s first direct flight to Japan launched

(CPV) - The new-age carrier Vietjet on November 8th launched the first air route linking Hanoi with Japan’s Osaka with the expectation of further boosting tourism and trade integration between the two sides.

Using Vietjet’s new and modern A321 neo aircraft, the route operates a return flight on a daily basis with a flight time of more than four hours per leg.

The flight departs Hanoi at 01h40 and arrives in Osaka at 07h50 while the return takes off in Osaka at 09h20 and lands in Hanoi at around 13h05 (all local times).

Vietjet’s new service to Osaka brings the airline’s total number of international routes up to 64 with a network that spans to 11 countries. The airline will soon launch two other routes to Japan from Vietnam including Ho Chi Minh city-Osaka (Kansai) route from December 14th, 2018 and Hanoi-Tokyo (Narita) route from January 11th, 2019.

To celebrate these debut flights on the Hanoi- Osaka route, Vietjet has hosted a mega-promotion over ‘three golden days’ on November 7th-9th with 10,000 promotional tickets priced only from USD0 (excluding taxes and fees).

The Osaka-Hanoi route is also the first service that Vietjet and Japan Airlines offer as code-share flight./.
