The pearl island of Phu Quoc is becoming a favorite destination of foreign tourists

Accordingly, Vietjet planned to operate two new domestic routes connecting the island with Da Nang and Van Don (Quang Ninh) with the frequency of 7 flights per week from the end of this year and the middle of next year.

The two new international routes from Phu Quoc to China’s Chengdu and Chongqing will be operated with 3 round-trip flights per week from the end of 2019.

In addition, the carrier’s two international routes Phu Quoc – Hong Kong (China) and Phu Quoc – Incheon (Seoul, the Republic of Korea) will increase the frequency to 6 flights per week and 14 flights per week, respectively from winter this year to meet customers’ demands during the peak season.

Since the first flight to Phu Quoc in 2012, Vietjet has continuously expanded its flight network, connecting the island to many provinces, cities, and other countries in the region including China, the Republic of Korea, India and more.

Its flights have become important bridges connecting trade and tourism to facilitate residents, tourists and investors to Phu Quoc in particular and Kien Giang in general, contributing to the change of local economy./.
