Vietnam ranks 76 on Global Passport Power 2017

The Vietnamese passport has been ranked 76 in a global ranking of the world’s most powerful passports by Passport Index.


Vietnam, with a Visa-Free Score of 48, shared the place with  Mozambique, Rwanda, Chad, Gabon, Egypt and Bhutan.

Thailand was ranked 55 as its citizens can travel visa-free to 70 countries and territories with their passport. The Philippines ranks 64, China at 66, Indonesia at 67 and Cambodia at 75.

Germany has the most powerful passport in the world as of January 2017, it allows 91 countries to enter without a visa (or with visa on arrival), placing it 52nd on the Welcoming Countries Rank.

Singapore and Sweden rank 2 as their passports are permitted in 156 countries and territories. In Asia, Singapore has the most powerful passport.

Denmark, Finland, France, Spain, Switzerland, Norway, the UK and the US were placed at 3rd with 155 countries and territories worldwide allowing their citizens to enter without visa.

Afghanistan and Pakistan are ranked last with a Visa-Free Score of 23 and 26, respectively./.
