(CPV) - The construction of Vinpearl Southern Hoi An complex was kicked off on March 26th, in the central coastal province of Quang Nam.

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and leaders of Quang Nam.
The project, located in two communes, Binh Duong and Binh Minh in Thang Binh district, is the first tourism and recreation complex of the Vinpearl system. It is capitalized with more than VND5 trillion.
The complex will cover 200 hectares and includes a hotel and villas, Vinpearl Golf, Vinpearl Land, Vincom mega mall, and hi-tech agricultural area in combination with VnEco tourism.
It is divided into two phases with the first, including hotel, villas, convention centre, restaurants and hi-tech agricultural area, scheduled to be completed in April 2018. Specifically, the hi-tech agricultural area in is expected to create jobs for about 1,500 local workers.
The second phase, with the focus on perfecting all technical infrastructure and continuing amusement park and golf course, will be finalized in 2019.
In his speech, Dinh Van Thu, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, said the project is expected to significantly contribute to awakening the potential and advantages of tourism; creating strong and sustainable development for Quang Nam./.
