Irish tourists show gratitude to Vietnamese authorities

Two Irish tourists have written a letter expressing their gratitude to Vietnamese authorities in the central province of Nghe An and promised to return to Vietnam, after having spent 14 days in isolation to prevent COVID-19 in Vietnam as regulated.

Mr. Ethan and Ms Uyoa were 2 among 135 completing the period of isolation in Nghe An province on April 1st

In their letter, they expressed their deepest thanks to health professionals and forces for caring them. “We have toured diverse Southeast Asian countries several months,” they wrote. “Although we had to stop in Vinh city, Nghe An province and could not realise our plan, we had a comfortable period of isolation.”

“We were well treated and impressed by the way that Vietnam join hands in coping with COVID-19,” they said in the letter.

“We hope to return to Vietnam and discover your country in more suitable conditions”.
