On the occasion of the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary (the tenth day of the third lunar month) this year, the project "Vietnam Ancestral Global Day" will be held online in the context of the complicated development of COVID-19.
According to the organizing board, the content of the online Vietnam Ancestral Global Day in 2020 has two parts: the first is a competition writing status "Towards Vietnam Ancestral Global Day". Participants will write about feelings, emotions or video clips, expressing their affection for the homeland, the country, the ancestors and the people; feelings of pride, national pride, connecting Vietnam with international friends.
The second part is "mind incense towards the Vietnam Ancestral Global Day", mobilizing all the people in the country and expatriates around the world to simultaneously change their avatar photo on their Facebook page, Fanpage with the logo of Vietnam Ancestral Global Day on the day of the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary as a kind of spiritual incense towards the Hung Kings' Death Anniversary.
“We would like to express our sincere thanks to Miss Austria for the love and enthusiasm for the project. Her support is a great source of motivation for the organizers of this project as well as overseas Vietnamese,” said Ms. Bich Yen, representative of the Organizing Board.
According to Ms. Yen, while people are bewildered by the epidemic, the project should ignite great national unity.
