Two resorts in Vietnam, InterContinental Da Nang Sun peninsula resort and JW Marriott Phu Quoc emerald bay resort and spa, have won renown from Conde Nast Traveller as among the best 50 resorts in the world in 2018.

InterContinental Da Nang Sun peninsula resort

The list was made based on the real experiences of 429,000 readers at hotels, resorts and destinations around the world.

Ranked at 15th, InterContinental Da Nang Sun peninsula resort, just 30 minutes from the Da Nang airport, was described as bringing the feeling of being much farther away from the “real world.”

“From the ocean- or mountain-view rooms and suites to the penthouses and the multi-bedroom villas, the accommodations are awash in chic Modern Vietnamese style; meanwhile, dining is always a memorable experience at the resort. It's the perfect pick for some beachside R&R while in Vietnam,” the US magazine said.

With 244 rooms and villas with sea views and private pools, JW Marriott Phu Quoc emerald bay resort and spa was ranked at 17th. In spite of only being put into operation at the end of 2016, the resort has won numerous recognitions from international magazines and organizations.

The recognition of Conde Nast Traveller is not only the pride but also the affirmation of the attractiveness and new position of Vietnam’s tourism to the world.

Other resorts that made the list are Viceroy Bali (Indonesia); Viceroy Los Cabos, San José del Cabo (Mexico); Naladhu Private island (Maldives); L’Horizon resort and spa (the US); and Angama Mara (Kenya)./.
