Vietnam’s Sung Sot and Son Doong caves have been listed among the Top 10 breathtaking natural wonders in Southeast Asia by Singapore’s tourism website Honey Combers.

Sung Sot cave

The Sung Sot cave in the world’s natural wonders Ha Long bay is famous for its emerald waters and majestic limestone cliffs and isles.

“Experience the raw beauty of Sung Sot cave on Bo Hon island, and be astonished by its perfectly smooth walls which make it seems like it was carved by man,” said Honey Combers.

Son Doong cave

The list cannot miss Son Doong  ave in the central province of Quang Binh, known as the largest cave cross-section in the world. It was created more than two million years ago by river water eroding limestone underneath a mountain.

According to the website, more than 150 metres of height, 200 metres of width and roughly nine kilometres of length, this colossal cave will awe you with its enormous stalagmites, majestic stalactites, super-abundant greeneries, and its large, fast-flowing subterranean river.

Other rankings that made the list are Phraya Nakhon cave (Thailand); Phnom Chhnork cave (Cambodia); Goa Jomblang (Indonesia); Tham Phu Kham (Laos); Batu caves (Malaysia); Sarawak Chamber (Malaysia); Pindaya caves (Myanmar); and Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park (the Philippines)./.
