Iran Daily newspaper recently quoted Mr. Mostafa Mousavi, President of Iran - Vietnam Chamber of Commerce, describing Vietnam as the trade center of East Asia.

According to Mr. Mostafa Mousavi, most of the world’s major mobile phone and automobile companies have set up manufacturing plants in Vietnam. Evaluating that Vietnam has more economic capacity than many countries, he confirmed that this Southeast Asian country is an appropriate choice for Iran to expand economic cooperation.
“Vietnam has opened its economy for many years, and achieved many technological and economic achievements," said Mousavi.
The Iran Daily newspaper emphasized statistics showing Vietnam among the fastest growing economies in the world in the past decade./.
