They are Hoang Minh Nhat, founder of the Minh Nhat bread chain, and Nguyen Thi Minh Lien, General Director of the Chau Thong Co., Ltd.

Accordingly, Ms Nhat was recognised in the category of “highest growth potential”, while Ms Lien was honoured with the special prize.

Apart from these two Vietnamese businesswomen, the organising committee also awarded four others.

BEST Award candidates are those who have run or owned small-sized businesses for 2-5 years. They are assessed in their ability to expand business, growth potential, creativity, the potential to develop markets in foreign countries, benefits for society, job creation and the promotion of human resources. The awards aim to disseminate success stories of small-sized businesses owned by women, and create favourable conditions for these businesses to expand their networks, thus inspiring many other women in establishing and developing their businesses./.
