The members of the Security Council expressed their deep sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the Government of Sweden.

They also underlined the need to bring the perpetrators of these terrorist acts to justice.

The attack left Stockholm as another capital city in Europe under terror threat, following Paris, Brussels, Berlin and London, and adding pressure to the already fragile security situation in the continent./.
