There will be a total of 130 participants from 23 different countries coming together to discuss policies, depopulation, populism, and their secretive agendas behind closed doors.

It will also feature Swiss Finance Minister Ueli Maurer, French Economy Minister Bruno Le Maire, the head of Germany’s Christian Democrats, Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, and Credit-Suisse CEO Tidjane Thiam among others.

According to Swiss daily Tages Anzeiger, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will also be among the attendees, although he is not on the official guest list on the Bildberg website.

The Bilderbergs are a collective of elite North American and European politicians, business leaders, financiers and academics. They are seen to be world planners with money and clout that is capable of changing the direction of the world.

The Bilderberg Meeting is an annual conference established in 1954 by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands “to foster dialogue between Europe and North America”.

The meetings are held in successively different locations under the Chatham House Rule.

According to the Bilderberg Group, their discussions will be 'informal' and without specific agenda, besides their publicised list of broad talking points.

This year will be the second time the Bilderberg Meeting has been held in Switzerland. In 2011, it was held in St Moritz in the country’s southeast./.
