British PM Theresa May has appointed Immigration Minister Brandon Lewis as the new Conservative Party Chairman.

Mr. Brandon Lewis, 47, will replace Sir Patrick McLoughlin, is also a Member of Parliament for Great Yarmouth, and was first elected at the 2010 general election.

Prime Minister Theresa May named Minister Brandon Lewis Chairman of her Conservative Party at the start of a reshuffle she hopes will re-energise an agenda hurt by divisions over Brexit and an ill-judged election.

He replaces Sir Patrick McLoughlin who had been in the role since July 2016.

Member of Parliament James Cleverly was also named as Vice Chairman of the Conservative Party./.
