President Trump congratulates China’s Xi Jinping after CPC Congress

US President Donald Trump on October 25th spoke to Chinese President Xi Jinping to congratulate him for the successful conclusion of the 19th Communist Party of China (CPC) National Congress in Beijing.

Mr. Trump said the 19th CPC National Congress has attracted worldwide attention, and he himself also paid close attention to important policy-related messages sent out by President Xi at the 19th Congress.
President Donald Trump is expected to meet President Xi when he visits China next month, when the two are likely to discuss issues related to the DPRK and US - China trade.
In the phone call with Mr Trump, Mr Xi expressed a desire to work with the US President to "jointly blueprint future development of China-US ties", Chinese state media report.
China has the world's second-largest economy after the US, its biggest trading partner.
President Trump will be embarking on an Asia tour from November 3rd to 14th, with visits to Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Vietnam, and the Philippines./.
