“There are many issues on the agenda and the Presidents will discuss what they believe to be necessary,” Lavrov added.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he hasn’t time enough in Paris to speak with his US counterpart, Donald Trump, but hopes to do that on the sidelines of the Group of Twenty summit in Argentina.

Among the issues they hope to discuss is the US decision to quit the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the media.

Earlier, the two Presidents met at the Elysee Palace in Paris on November 11th on the sidelines of the ceremonies commemorating the end of World War I, attended by around 70 world leaders.

Putin later said he had a good conversation with Trump, without providing more details.

The Kremlin later said the two leaders had exchanged pleasantries during the working lunch, and that no specific issues had been discussed.

The G20 summit will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina on November 30th-December 1st./.
