Russian Foreign Minister to meet US State Secretary Rex Tillerson in Vienna

The Russia’s Foreign Ministry has confirmed a planned meeting of Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US State Secretary Rex Tillerson on the sidelines of the 24th Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Ministerial Council in Vienna, Austria, to be held from December 7th - 8th.

Earlier, a senior State Department official told reporters about a scheduled meeting between Tillerson and Lavrov. "We have a fairly robust set of discussions underway with the Russians on a lot of global issues including the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Ukraine, and certainly Syria," he said.
State Secretary Rex Tillerson will travel to Brussels, Belgium; Vienna, Austria; and Paris, France, from December 4th-8th.
On December 4th, he arrived in Brussels, where he will meet with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and attend the Foreign Ministers Meeting in December 5th - 6th.
While in Brussels, he is also meeting with senior Belgian officials, as well as EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, and the foreign ministers of the 28 EU member states to discuss US-EU cooperation on major global issues./.
