This year, it will return at five venues situated at the Yeouido Hangang Park, Banpo Hangang Park, Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Cheonggyecheon Stream, and Oil Tank Culture Park. Each location will feature various zones such as the Food zone, Handmade zone, Event zone, and more.

Accordingly, the night markets in Yeouido, Banpo and Dongdaemun Design Plaza will open on April 5th and then Cheonggye Stream on April 6th. The market at Oil Tank Culture Park will open in May.

As scheduled, some 190 food trucks and 360 handicraft merchandisers will participate in the night event, and citizens will be able to use credit cards.

The Bamdokkaebi Night Market, officially launched in 2016, is a place where visitors can enjoy food from around the world, shop for unique handmade accessories and watch various cultural performances. In 2015, the city government offered the Market as a trial run.

The Night Market was selected as Seoul’s most popular seasonal festival in 2017, attracting over five million visitors at six venues.

Seoul city is also planning a Christmas Market in December at those locations./.
