US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo made the remarks during his meeting with RoK President Moon Jae-in at the presidential complex in Seoul, after visiting Pyongyang earlier in the day and meeting with the DPRK leader.
Prior to meeting with President Moon, Mike Pompeo tweeted that he "had a good trip to #Pyongyang to meet with Chairman Kim."
"We continue to make progress on agreements made at Singapore Summit," the tweet continued, referring to the face-to-face talks in June between leader Kim and President Donald Trump, which ended with an agreement to work toward the "complete denuclearization" of the Korean peninsula.
