Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has announced that US President Donald Trump was invited to visit Russia.

Mr. Lavrov said that President Putin has received an invitation from President Trump to visit the United States, and has also sent an invitation to President Trump to visit Russia.
"President of Russia Vladimir Putin has received an invitation from President Trump to visit the United States. President Trump has received an invitation to visit Russia as well," he told a news conference after his participation in the high-level debates at the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly.
"When everyone is ready and when possible dates are suggested, we will be able to decide," he added.
The two Presidents held their first meeting in Helsinki, Finland, on July 16th.
President Trump said after the meeting that his meeting with Putin had been a great success, and he looked forward to meeting Putin again to implement a series of issues discussed in the first meeting./.
