US President to attend World Economic Forum in Davos

US President Donald Trump will attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, later this month, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said on January 9th.

"The President welcomes opportunities to advance his America First agenda with world leaders," Ms. Sanders said.
"At this year's World Economic Forum, the president looks forward to promoting his policies to strengthen American businesses, American industries and American workers." she added.
Under with the theme “Creating a shared Future in a Fractured World", the event between January 23rd - 26th will see the congregation of world leaders, including more than 40 heads of state and government, apart from business magnates from all over the world.
Trump would be the first sitting US President to attend the summit in person since Bill Clinton in 2000.
Last year, US Vice President Joe Biden attended the Forum./.
