President-elect Donald Trump invites Czech President to US

President-elect Donald Trump held a phone conversation with Czech President Milos Zeman and invited him to visit the United States.

According to the Czech president's spokesman Jiri Ovcacek, the two sides agreed that the end of April 2017 would be a perfect time for both to meet in Washington.
Ovcacek also said that the two presidents spoke about their common positions in the fight against terrorism, and the political and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Zeman's office said Trump appreciated that Zeman "was the only European president" to endorse him during the campaign against Democrat Hillary Clinton.
Zeman has been to the United States three times since he was elected in 2013, but was not invited to the White House by President Barack Obama./.
