French President Emmanuel Macron has reappointed Mr. Edouard Philippe as Prime Minister.

Mr. Philippe has been asked to unveil the new government, the sources said.
Mr. Edouard Philippe, born in 1970, is a French lawyer and politician, serving as the Prime Minister of France since May 15th, 2017.
He is a member of the Union for a Popular Movement, later the Republicans, and served as a member of the National Assembly representing the 7th constituency of Seine-Maritime since 2012, as well as mayor of Le Havre and President of the agglomeration community of Le Havre since 2010.
Macron’s party won a resounding majority in the National Assembly on June 18th, with 301 seats in the 577-strong lower house of parliament. Its ally, MoDem, won another 48 seats./.
