Addressing a press conference, Tokyo's Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said Abe would hold talks with Trump in Washington and also visit Florida before returning to Japan on February 13th.

"At the same time, we hope (the trip) will further strengthen the unshakable bonds of the alliance so that the leaders can build a solid relationship of trust between themselves," Mr. Suga said.

The leaders agreed in a telephone call late last month to hold the summit in Washington on February 10th in Washington. It will be their first sit-down meeting since President Trump took office on January 20th. They met in New York shortly after Trump was elected in November./.
