On the same day, the provincial Party Congress elected 49 members to the provincial Executive Party Committee, 15 to the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, 2 Deputy Secretaries, and 9 members to the provincial Party Committee Commission of Inspection and Head of this commission.
The newly-elected Secretary, Vu Dai Thang, born in 1975, is a MA in economic management. During the 12th National Party Congress, he was elected an alternate member of the PCC. In July, he was appointed by the Politburo to join the provincial Standing Board and the provincial Executive Party Committee in the position of Secretary of the provincial Party Committee term 2015-2020.
The congress also elected Tran Hai Chau, Head of the provincial Party Committee Commission of Internal Affairs, term 2015-2020, as Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025. Tran Thang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, term 2015-2020, was elected Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.
Meanwhile, Dinh Huu Thanh, a member of the provincial Executive Party Committee and Secretary of the Bo Trach district Party Committee, was elected Head of the provincial Party Committee Commission of Inspection.
Addressing the congress, Politburo member Nguyen Thien Nhan appreciated the province’s efforts in boosting socio-economic development, confirming that the province should focus on developing planning for the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050 in which breakthrough programs are included to take full advantage of its potentials, for making comprehensive development, especially tourism./.
