Concert fosters traditional friendship between Vietnam and Romania

A concert to foster the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Romania has taken place in Romania with the attendance of more than 150 guests, including 30 heads of representative missions and foreign diplomats, representatives of a number of Romanian ministries and Romanian partners, officials and employees of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Romania.

The event was held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Romania and the National University of Music Bucharest.

Vietnamese students who are studying music in Romania gave performances in the programme. The show that lasted for about an hour comprised pieces with international influences as well as unique folk tunes of Romania and Vietnam. 

Addressing the event, Ambassador Dang Tran Phong reviewed the positive development of the traditional relationship between Vietnam and Romania, including bilateral cooperation in the fields of culture and education. He thanked the Romanian Government for its support in the training of Vietnamese students and researchers over the years, noting that many of the alumni have succeeded in their careers and made practical contributions to national development.

The diplomat also thanked the National University of Music Bucharest for helping train many musical talents of Vietnam over the years./.
