A delegation of revolutionary contributors from the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum visited President Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum in Hanoi to pay respects to the late President.

The delegation was led by comrade Phan Thanh Tinh, Deputy Director of Kon Tum provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. The delegation also includes delegates who are wounded soldiers, people infected with toxic chemicals, imprisoned soldiers, people participating in the resistance war, and people who have contributed to helping the revolution.

Nearly 52,000 people in Kon Tum province are enjoying preferential policies for people with meritorious services. Over the past years, the Party Committee, government and people of Kon Tum province have always identified the work of fallen and wounded soldiers and people with meritorious services to the revolution as a central and regular political task and have directed its implementation, contributing to improving the material and spiritual lives of revolutionary contributors in the province. To date, 99.37% of policy households with meritorious service members have a living standard equal to or higher than that of the local population. Since 2017, Saigon Newport Corporation has received lifelong care for four Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.

At the reception, Colonel Do Tat Thanh, Deputy Chief of Office of the Management Board of President Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, introduced the task of long-term preservation and absolute safety of President Ho Chi Minh's body.
