These categories include Asia's Leading Emerging Tourism Destination 2024 and Asia's Leading Regional Cultural Destination 2024.

Last year the Red River Delta province of Ha Nam was honoured for the first time as the World’s Leading Regional Cultural Destination 2023.

Boasting many famous sightseeing spots such as Tam Chuc Spiritual Tourism Complex and Ba Danh Pagoda, Ha Nam managed to surpass many strong rivals to win a prize at the World Travel Awards 2023.

To vote for Vietnam in the 2024 World Travel Awards, people can do so by accessing the website at www.worldtravelawards.com.

Voting will give Vietnamese tourism the chance to continue to be honoured at the world’s prestigious awards dubbed “the Oscars of tourism”, thereby further popularizing the country as a hospitable destination among visitors far and wide.   Last year saw the nation recognised among the 45 top categories of the World Travel Awards.

The UK-based WTA was first established back in 1993 to annually acknowledge, reward, and celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries, which includes various categories such as airlines, hotels, resorts, tour operators, and travel destinations./.
