Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh reopens to serve visitors

On August 12, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspected the recently completed periodic maintenance of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

The Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh in Hanoi will reopen to the public from August 16 after an annual maintenance since June.
In the first 6 months of this year, the Mausoleum Management Board welcomed more than 1.6 million visitors to the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, and more than 430,000 visitors to the Ho Chi Minh Museum.
On August 12, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspected the recently completed periodic maintenance of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
The Prime Minister urged the Board and relevant agencies to address ongoing challenges by stepping up communication efforts and embracing digital transformation to better serve visitors.
President Ho Chi Minh passed away on September 2, 1969. His body was embalmed and placed in a glass coffin inside the granite mausoleum.
The mausoleum has become an important landmark of the capital city and is integral to the political and social history of Vietnam./.
