Pedestrian streets around Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi and its surroundings will reopen from September 18, 2020, and will continue operating activities from 19:00 on Friday to 24:00 on Sunday.

Specifically, Hang Dao, Hang Giay streets, Dong Xuan night market and six extended pedestrian streets in the Hanoi Old Quarter will be active again starting from September 18, and continue operation during weekends. Cultural activities and entertainment will be held.
The People's Committee of Hoan Kiem district said that the walking spaces in Hoan Kiem district will ensure meeting the requirements of security, traffic order and safety, and urban order in and outside the walking space.
In conditions of COVID-19 prevention, the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District paused organization of activities in the district pedestrian area from August 21, 2020./.
