The book features a total of 17 articles presented at an international roundtable workshop on the CPV and the 13th National Congress of the CPV, which was held from May 19 to May 20.

Written by prestigious Russian researchers along with those based in other countries, these articles serve to highlight the development of the CPV and its role in the modern era, as well as the significance of the 13th National Party Congress.

Featuring three chapters, the book also focuses on Vietnamese tasks of internal and external affairs, in addition to the nation’s various socio-economic achievements under the CPV’s leadership.

Among the articles is one written by Professor Vladimir Kolotov, head of the Ho Chi Minh Institute at St. Petersburg University in Russia, who analysed the nation’s development strategy as mentioned in documents of the Party Congress, along with major features of the country’s political system.

He therefore underscored the political stability in Vietnam amid global and regional uncertainties.

According to the researcher, the CPV has taken into consideration the various changes occurring both in and outside of the country as it sets out reasonable development tactics and strategies aimed at fulfilling set targets in various periods of time.

Other researchers also pointed out the tremendous achievements recorded by the nation in external relations under the Party leadership, saying the Vietnamese diplomatic strategy has helped the country to surpass obstacles and raise its prestige within the international arena.

The book also provides readers with both sound and comprehensive insight into the nation and the optimism surrounding the country's development path moving forward./.
