Central commission increases quality and efficiency of oral popularization

(CPV) - Launching the popularization and education information application helps the Party's cadres, reporters, and propagandists easily access information anytime, anywhere; thereby spreading positive information to cadres, Party members and people; making an important contribution to raising awareness within the Party and social consensus, effectively fighting against wrong and hostile views.

So said Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC Commission of Popularization and Education, during the launch of the commission’s information application, and a new form of three bulletins on activities of Party cells, reporting information, and education and information work, on September 29.

He added that 2021 is the first year that the entire Party, people and army have implemented the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, continue to comprehensively and synchronously promote the renewal process, incite the aspiration for national development, and strengthen the national great unity, thus promoting rapid and sustainable development of the country. “Besides opportunities and advantages, Vietnam is facing many great challenges, especially the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said. “Therefore, the quality and efficiency of the Party’s information and report work must be improved in order to meet requirements in the new situation.”

He also asked the Commission’s Information and Communication Centre to continue closely following the 13th National Party Congress’s Resolution, and give consultancy on measures to innovate and improve the quality and efficiency of information provision, and timely give information orientations.

“It is necessary to increase the number of articles, research, analysis and assessment on economic, political, social, defence, security, and foreign affairs,” he went on to say, adding that the articles need to help firmly struggle against schemes of opportunists and hostile forces, contributing to reinforcing solidarity and consensus among the Party and society.

Noting that as the COVID-19 pandemic is undergoing complicated development in many localities across the country, especially in Ho Chi Minh City and some southern provinces and cities, forcing all the people and soldiers across the country and overseas Vietnamese to be united with the Party and State to help the country return to a new normal situation, he urged the Information and Communication Centre to promote dissemination of the close, drastic, quick and flexible direction of the leaders of the Party, the State and the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control; and the consistent policy in realizing the goal of fighting the pandemic, boosting economic development, caring for people’s lives and protecting people’s health.

Addressing the launch ceremony, Do Phuong Thao, Director of the PCC Commission of Popularization and Education’s Information and Communication Centre, said that over the past years, the three bulletins of the commission implemented by the centre have really become an important and useful source of information and documents for a large number of speakers, communicators, Party cells and Party members nationwide. “They have played a crucial role in the Party's information front,” she added./.
